Amy Hawkins has been a Family and Consumer Sciences Extension Agent with Virginia Cooperative Extension for 17 years. Her primary focus is health and nutrition. She has been offering the Balanced Living with Diabetes program since 2011. She is a Lifestyle Coach with the DPP and is eager to introduce this program in her community.
Amy loves to garden and enjoys experimenting in the kitchen with garden herbs and veggies. She enjoys learning and teaching how simple lifestyle changes can make a huge impact on disease prevention and health maintenance.
