Clare Lillard is a Family & Consumer Sciences Extension Agent with Virginia Cooperative Extension in Orange County and also serves the counties of Madison and Culpeper. She is from Maryland, and graduated with a Bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland, College Park and received a Master’s degree from Virginia Tech in Agriculture and Life Sciences. Clare has been with Virginia Cooperative Extension for 16 years.
Clare and her husband live on a beef cattle farm bordering the Shenandoah National Park in Madison County and she enjoys reading, gardening, and taking long walks with her Border Collie, Winston.
Clare is a trained Lifestyle Coach with the Diabetes Prevention Program and looks forward to helping those in her community learn healthy ways to live diabetes-free.
