Katrina Kirby is a Family & Consumer Sciences Extension Agent with Virginia Cooperative Extension in Petersburg, Va. She is a native of Central Virginia and graduated with her Bachelor's and Masters of Special Education from Virginia State University. She has been working with Cooperative Extension for nine years.
She has been married for 28 years to her childhood sweetheart and they have 3 children and 3 grandchildren who they love dearly. Katrina says that family is one of the most important pieces of my life. She enjoys music, good food and company. She comes from a family of cooking “women” and that tradition has been passed down to her. She loves learning new recipes and is willing to try almost anything if it tastes good and is good for me. She brings that love of cooking to her role as a Lifestyle Coach, sharing her knowledge of what makes food taste great and still be good for you.
