Sharon Rice is a native of Southwest Virginia and graduated with a M.S. in Health and Physical Education from Virginia Tech and a Masters of Nutrition and Human Performance from Logan University. She has been with Cooperative Extension for five years and lived in Bristol City for 18 years. When not working, Sharon loves to spend time with family, read, spend time outdoors and travel. Her passion for nutrition, health & wellness motivates her to work with the DPP, helping those in her community find sustainable ways to make healthy lifestyle changes.
