Vanessa is a Family & Consumer Sciences Extension Agent, with Virginia Cooperative Extension. Her office is in Frederick County, but she also serves residents in Clarke, Page, Shenandoah, and Warren counties. She is originally from Boston and moved to Winchester several years ago with her husband.
She is passionate about helping people make choices towards eating well and moving more in order to live life to its fullest potential. She loves to eat and her favorite foods are Thai, Indian, Ethiopian, Greek, and Italian. Her favorite treats are chocolate, pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, and carrot cake. She also likes biking and going on walks.
She was trained as a lifestyle coach in 2020 and is conducting the VCE DPP program through distance learning and in person.
