Delmarva Land Grant Institution Cooperative Seed Grant Program Grant Proposals
Six Delmarva-region Land Grant institutions have formed a partnership to foster research addressing major regional challenges in agriculture and natural resources. This grant opportunity was developed by representatives from each of the six participating universities to strengthen cooperation and provide a springboard for investigators to obtain longer term extramural funding:
- Delaware State University (DSU)
- University of Delaware (UD)
- University of Maryland – College Park (UMCP)
- University of Maryland – Eastern Shore (UMES)
- Virginia State University (VSU)
- Virginia Tech (VT)
For the 2018 competition, a $20,000 commitment has been pledged by each of the six deans within the consortium for use within each of their institutions toward this multi-institutional initiative.
The submission deadline for proposals is Monday, October 30th, 2017, 5:00 pm.
