Identifying Weeds on Your Farm

Wednesday, May 20, 2026 • 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

26230 Orange Springs Road Unionville, VA, 22567

Weeds are simply plants growing where you don't want them to grow, but many of them are also edible for humans and livestock alike. This workshop will include a presentation of common weeds via a slideshow presentation about weeds in Virginia landscapes, and you will learn how to specifically identify some of them during a field walk. Attendees must wear close-toed shoes and long pants to participate in the field walk portion. This workshop will take place rain or shine
