Wild & Blooming: A Native Plant and Pollinator Workshoop

Join us for a vibrant, hands-on workshop celebrating Virginia’s native plants and the incredible pollinators they support. This fun, family-friendly event features dynamic presentations—including a special guest talk by Desiree Shelley-Flores from Monacan Nation— and a chance to roll up your sleeves and create your own seed bombs with native seeds. Come explore, learn, and connect with nature in a whole new way!

HOW TO RSVP? To reserve your spot(s), please email Katelynn Tupponce at katelynn.tupponce@umitribe.gov or call (804) 535-0015. Sign up today and be sure to let us know how many people you’re RSVPing for! Space is limited—only 40 seats available.

This event is free and open to the community. If you’d like to support the Upper Mattaponi Tribal Garden and future educational events like this one, donations are warmly welcomed. Checks can be made payable to Upper Mattaponi Tribe with “Support of the Tribal Garden” in the memo.
