Calling all Nottoway and Amelia County producers and those served by Piedmont SWCD!

■ Tour Hosted By: VSU Small Farm Outreach Program in partnership with Piedmont SWCD & Virginia DCR

What You’ll Actively Learn:

- What SWCDs and DCR actually do

- How conservation programs and cost-share funds are approved

- Who makes the decisions and how you can get involved

- Opportunities for farmers, landowners, and local residents

- Ways to protect soil, water, and natural resources in your community

■ What Happens at a SWCD Board Meeting?

- Partner updates from DCR, NRCS, Extension, & more

- Cost-share & BMP approvals for landowners

- Program planning & community conservation efforts

- Budget reviews & district decision-making

- Public comment and Q&A

■ This is your chance to:

- Meet your local conservation leaders

- Learn about funding and support for your land

- Voice your concerns or interests

- Discover internships, volunteer, or leadership opportunities
