Sheep weighing, sorting, crutching and applying ear tags can be very stressful on both the farmer and animals. Learn how to humanely reduce livestock stress and save labor and time handling sheep. Come out to Cumberland County to join us at Front Runner Farm, LLC, one of Virginia’s prominent Kerry Hill Sheep breeders will demonstrate the Te Pari Racewell Sheep Handling and Drafting System. Also, learn about using working Border Collies to calmly move and pen your flock. Dress appropriately, this is an outdoor event. Reschedule Rain date is April 15, 10:00-12:00
