Herd & Forage Improvement- Field Day Event
Saturday, April 25, 2026 • 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
16297 Stevensburg Road Brandy Station, VA, 22714
April is a great time for a farm field day event to see and learn about improved pasture management practices, higher quality forages, how to create a healthy soil so that animal producers will see an increase in weight gains, improve herd health and therefore increase profits in sales. Mr. Triplett will discuss his success in his grazing practices, the time it takes to manage his herd, and other things he does to make sure his herd stays healthy. We will also discuss the need for keeping good records, and we will discuss our Herd Health and Forage Improvement Program at VSU. Lunch will be served. There will be much for everyone to learn !
