Come join VSU Soil Expert Tim Sexton and learn about basic soil fertility.
This workshop will discuss all 18 nutrients essential for plant growth, and the effects on plant health. You will learn about the reasons soils become acid, nutrients that hang around and those that leave the site.
Find out the importance of liming and when to apply nutrients, and how to make the best use of them.
The event is limited to the first 8 attendees who register and will be held on the 3rd Floor of the UVA Wise Library, beginning at 10:00 AM on May 12.
