Basic Soil Fertility for Growers

Wednesday, May 6, 2026 • 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

150 Slayton Ave, Danville, VA 24540

May is a great time for growers to learn about soil fertility, learn about the three major nutrients and over a dozen required nutrients and are needed in very small amounts for good plant growth. We will learn about the symptoms that plants show when there is a deficiency and when some of these nutrients are available for plant growth and what causes the deficiencies. A healthy soil, means healthy plants , which means a better product for consumption and increased profits
