FABA Bean Walk & Talk Time

FABA Bean is a nutritious, self-fertile annual legume in the pea family. It is cultivated for its rich protein seeds and pods It can be used for food, cover crop, and livestock feed. On May 7, 2026 VSU College of Agriculture will have a FABA Bean Walk and Talk to expose clients to different varieties of FABA beans. The event will showcase a FABA Bean farm tour by Dr. Shahram Torabian. Dr. Theresa Nartea give a talk on marketing FABA Beans and have a display of different FABA Bean products. There will also be a FABA Bean gift basket raffle.
