Did you know the only STIHL manufacturing facility in the United States is located in Virginia Beach, Virginia? Established in 1974 with the production of a single chainsaw model, this site has grown into the largest global production facility in the STIHL Group—and it also serves as the U.S. headquarters. Today, STIHL USA manufactures a wide range of gas- and battery-powered outdoor power equipment— including chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, and over 275 different model variants, plus bars and plastic components. Their advanced, automated processes ensure high-speed production with exceptional quality. The facility has expanded to an impressive 1.5 million square feet of manufacturing and administrative space, situated on a 150-acre campus. It’s a hub of innovation and efficiency, producing both petrol and battery-powered products for customers across the country and beyond. Now, you can go behind the scenes with a unique, guided tour of this world-class facility.
