A high tunnel is an agricultural structure that allows a grower to extend the growing season and protect crops from adverse weather conditions. Workshop participants will learn about using high tunnels to grow horticulture crops. Topics covered will be structure selection, management, maintenance and costs associated with high tunnel production. Special emphasis will be place on all phases of high tunnel construction. Participants will learn about proper crop selection for protected culture. Also covered will be resources for materials and supplies.
