How to Grow Mushrooms on Logs

Tracy Porter, VSU Small Farm Outreach Program Regional Program Assistant, will host an in-person workshop to teach you all the steps needed to grow mushrooms on logs. Topics will include tools, equipment and supplies, tree species, mushroom varieties, when to cut and inoculate your logs, how to maintain your logs, when and how to harvest, how to sell fresh and value-added mushroom products, and marketing strategies. This event is free and open to the public.
