As a grower, you are protected under The Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act (PACA). The PACA protects growers and businesses dealing in fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables by establishing and enforcing a code of fair business practices and by helping companies resolve business disputes. Learn how the PACA provides a forum where firms that buy and sell fruits and vegetables can settle commercial disputes outside of the civil court by, understanding your rights and responsibilities. In addition, PACA you will broaden your understanding of trade terms, payment requirements, federal inspection certificates and more.
