Join us for a hands-on educational Faba Bean experience! Participants will enjoy learning about how to grow, harvest and prepare VSU grown faba beans. Faba bean expert, Dr. Shahram Torabian will discuss promising VSU Agricultural Research Station Faba Bean cultivars of interest and how to grow them in Virginia. Farm marketing specialist Dr. Theresa Nartea will share exciting marketing ideas that include simple recipes for you to try. You will also learn how to properly harvest Faba beans and be able to take your harvest home to make your  own Faba bean dishes. Don’t miss this special learning opportunity.
