Increasing Soil Health with Cover Crops
Tuesday, October 28, 2025 • 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
16299 Savagetown Rd Painter, VA 23420
This field demonstration is being held for farmers to learn about incorporating cover crops on their farm,
which in turn means healthy crops. Participants will learn how to begin the Spiral of Soil Health, creating
healthy soil in order for plants to have better uptake of nutrients which is essential for the highest potential
growth, ability to withstand or resist drought, and to retain topsoil by reducing erosion, as well as learn
how it sustains agricultural practices and our ability to provide food for the future.
Please join us to discover how six trial cover crops may affect your farm's soil health.
