Chowan Basin Board Meeting

Join us as we attend the Chowan Basin Soil & Water Conservation District for their monthly board meeting which provides updates on conservation planning, producer assistance, and priority watershed activities in the region. Board members review cost-share program participation, ongoing conservation practices such as cover cropping, rotational grazing, riparian buffers, and waterwise management. Attendees can learn how district decisions support soil health, protect waterways, and enhance local agricultural sustainability. This meeting is a great opportunity for producers and residents to stay connected with conservation efforts, voice local concerns, and understand emerging opportunities for technical or financial support throughout the Chowan Basin service area.
