Attend the Piedmont Soil & Water Conservation District Board Meeting to gain an in-depth look at agricultural and conservation initiatives serving Amelia, Nottoway, and Prince Edward counties. Discussions typically include cost-share program updates, best management practices, landowner outreach, watershed priorities, forestry and grazing initiatives, youth education, and upcoming workshops. Attendees gain insight into district decision-making, project planning, and local resource concerns. Producers, educators, and community members are encouraged to attend to learn about opportunities for partnership, conservation funding, and technical assistance that supports farm productivity, soil health, and water quality across the region.
