Like any livestock management system, pasture lambing requires careful recordkeeping;
knowledge of animal nutrition, health and behavior; and—just as important—attention to detail.
Learn low-stress sheep birthing and flock management techniques with Dr. Dahlia O’Brian. Topics will include:
• Items to include in your lambing toolbox
• Nutrition and feeding management
• Record keeping
• Newborn lamb care
• Ewe health management
Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear proper footwear. This will be an outdoor event.
