Take a tour of Black Bear Composting facility to learn about their successful composting operation. Black Bear Composting is an organics recycling company that helps local businesses, organizations and residents reduce their waste stream by recycling their organic materials — food scraps, yard trimmings, and clean waste wood — into products for healthy soil. Attendees will also hear from Pedro Aponte, of St. Isidore Homestead in Grottes. Pedro has worked with Black Bear for several years to improve the soil on his farm
