Join us for an Appreciation Dinner celebrating conservation work! Join us for an Appreciation Dinner hosted by the Virginia Dare SWCD. We will be celebrating all of the conservation work accomplished in our Program Year 2026 as we close out the year. We will be discussing successful conservation practices and discussing the direction you want to see your Soil and Water Conservation District heading. We will host a producer panel that will give some insight on different practices they have participated in and some new practices they look forward to being involved in. Event Highlights Partner Agency Update: Hear from our partner agencies like DCR (Dept. Conservation & Recreation), NRCS (Natural Resource Conservation Service), FSA (Farm Service Agency), Virginia Cooperative Extension, and VSU Small Farm Outreach Program. Producer Panel: Producers in the area discussing different practices they have participated in, as well as input on how you want to see the District moving forward. Enjoy Dinner: Dinner will be offered for those who RSVP prior to the deadline. Different Programs the District has to offer: Be some of the first to hear about new programs and services the District is working to provide the community. Registration Admission: Free!
