Fall and Winter Farm Pond Maintenance

The fall and winter months are an ideal time to work on farm pond maintenance to get them ready for the spring. These are the months that dam structure is checked for problems. The pond maintenance program will cover other critical pond upkeep items such as liming pond for good water quality, potential aquatic weed problems, and winter pond drawdown.
