On-Farm Chicken Processing

A hands-on workshop where participants will learn on-farm chicken processing
techniques, including dispatching, scalding, and eviscerating pasture-raised
birds. Led by Jack Dixon (Riverbank Farms) and Dr. Jessica Walters (VDACS),
the workshop will also cover food safety, poultry anatomy and physiology, and
VDACS meat and poultry services.
