Farming comes with inherent risks. Beginning and established farmers need to be aware of how to reduce these risks. Reducing those risks can save time, money, injuries, and possibly lives. Mr. Curt Porterfield, Assistant Director of College Facilities and Safety for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Virginia Tech will present ideas that all farmers, regardless of experience level, can use to help reduce accidents on the farm
